Villa Monaco
Villa Monaco is a stately residence perched high on the olive grove-dotted hillside of Mlini. This elevation comes with two major benefits: magnificent, panoramic sea views and a constant gentle breeze that brings welcome relief on hot summer days. The Mlini seafront is a short 5-minute drive away, while Old Town Dubrovnik and Cavtat can be reached in 15 minutes by car (in opposite directions).Much of the villa has been recently renovated to a very high standard. Traditional white stone, used extensively throughout, lends a feeling of grandeur to this expansive, multi-level property. It consists of a main house with 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, and an additional 1-bedroom apartment on the premises. In total, the villa has the capacity to sleep 9 + 4 guests. It is beautifully decorated with a mix of classic and modern furnishings and is very well appointed, making it the perfect setting for a long stay. The highlight of the property is its massive indoor swimming pool and spa area, the likes of which—until now—could only be found in luxury 5-star hotels in Dubrovnik. The layout of Villa Monaco is as follows:
Entrance level:
• Main living room with air conditioning and LCD satellite TV, which opens onto a terrace with small dining table and spectacular sea views.
• Full bathroom with shower.
• Fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker.
• Formal dining room with table for 6 and wine refrigerator. Vaulted ceilings and generous amounts of natural light from the many windows make this room feel particularly light & airy.
• Large covered terrace with comfortable wicker furniture and fantastic sea views.
1st floor:
• Master bedroom with double bed, walk-in closet, LCD satellite TV, air conditioning & luxury ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi (great views from Jacuzzi!), double wash basins, and separate shower.
• Sitting room with Italian marble floors, plush, oversized sofabed (sleeps 1), bar, chairs, air conditioning, and balcony with excellent sea views.
• 2nd bedroom with double bed, air conditioning, LCD satellite TV, wardrobe, dressing table, and ensuite bathroom with shower.
• 3rd bedroom with double bed, single bed, air conditioning, LCD satellite TV, and ensuite bathroom with shower.
Ground level (below entrance level):
• Indoor heated swimming pool (9 m x 5m x 1.5 m) with whirlpool & sunken bar seats.
• Outdoor terrace with sun loungers and spectacular sea views.
• Fitness room with sauna and LCD TV.
• Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
• Pool shower & toilet.
• Separate 1-bedroom apartment that has 1 double bed, 1 single bed, and a double sofabed (capacity to sleep 3+2 guests).
Outdoor grounds:
• Covered stone terrace with outdoor barbeque/kitchen and large dining table.
• Garage parking for 3 to 4 cars.
• Beautiful terraced gardens with lavender, apple trees, olive trees, rosemary, and rose bushes.
Amenities include: indoor swimming pool, outdoor stone barbecue, fitness room, parking for 3 or 4 cars, air conditioning, floor heating in entire house and pool area, solar panels, satellite TV, wireless Internet, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, washing machine, clothes dryer, safe boxes, Jacuzzi tub, and sauna. A private chef can be arranged at a cost of 100 EUR/day. There is also a 1990 Jeep available for use by guests of the villa.
