TERMS & CONDITIONS     Minimum Stay   The minimum stay requirement is determined by the apartment owner and often varies depending on the time of year, but generally a 3-night minimum requirement applies.  Most apartment owners will accept shorter stays at a 20% to 30% higher price.    Pets   Unless otherwise stated in the accommodation listing, pets are not allowed.

Payment   You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation.  This deposit varies by apartment, but it is typically 20% of the price for each night booked.     The balance is payable directly to the property owner in cash (either Euros or Kuna) upon arrival.  It is not possible to pay the balance by credit card.  If you do not feel comfortable traveling with a large amount of cash, it may be possible to pay the remaining balance directly to the property owner via bank transfer prior to your arrival.  If you wish to avail of this option, then you must ask the property owner if he or she will accept payment via bank transfer and, if so, to provide his or her bank account information.    Cancellation   Any full or partial cancellation of the reservation prior to arrival will result in the forfeiture of the deposit paid for the canceled nights.  In cases of partial cancellation, the deposit paid at the time of booking cannot be applied to the balance due for nights stayed.  In some cases a property owner may authorize the refund of the deposit if a cancellation is made far enough in advance.  However, any such refunds are at the sole discretion of the property owner and may be refused.   No refunds of the balance paid will be given for full or partial cancellations made after guests arrive at the property.

Confirmation   Within minutes of completing your reservation and paying the deposit, you will receive 2 automated emails.  The first will be a receipt for your payment from PayPal (our payment processor).  The second will be a "CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION" email from us containing full details of your reservation including balance due on arrival, apartment address, and apartment owner contact information.  This is your official reservation confirmation.  You must bring this email with you and present it to the apartment owner upon arrival.    If you do not receive this email (check all Junk and Bulk folders in addition to your Inbox), please contact us and we will re-send it to you.

Arrival Information   Once your reservation is confirmed, you must contact the owner of your accommodation to inform him or her of the details of your arrival.  The owner's contact information is contained in your reservation confirmation email.  The normal procedure is for you to go directly to the apartment where you will be greeted by the owner and given the keys.

Price Adjustments   The prices listed on our website reflect the prevailing prices at a given point in time.  By making a booking on our website you lock in the prevailing price.  From time to time, apartment owners will offer price discounts to generate last-minute bookings or raise prices to reflect improvements to the properties.  In these cases, no price adjustments will be made to bookings that were made prior to the implementation of the price change.

Apartment Availability   The availability calendars for all apartments listed on our website are based upon the information we receive from the individual apartment owners.  However, it is possible that a situation may arise where an apartment reserved on our website is not available.  In this case, we will offer our customers the option of a full refund or will try to find them alternate accommodation of similar quality and price.  We cannot be held responsible for such an error when caused by the failure of the apartment owner to provide us with up-to-date information.

Apartment Representations   We at Dubrovnik Apartment Source have done our best to assure that the descriptions and photographs on our website are an accurate representation of the accommodations as of the time we inspected them.  However, as we are working with many individual apartment owners, it is not always possible for our website to immediately reflect all changes and upgrades to the accommodations.  In the event you find that the accommodation you rent is materially different than the representation made on our site, please notify us so that we may update our listing.  However, Dubrovnik Apartment Source cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancies, as we are merely a booking agent for the apartment owners.

Liability Disclaimer   THE CARRIERS, ACCOMMODATION OWNERS, AND OTHER SUPPLIERS PROVIDING TRAVEL OR OTHER SERVICES ON THIS WEBSITE ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND NOT AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES OF DUBROVNIK APARTMENT SOURCE. DUBROVNIK APARTMENT SOURCE IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTS, ERRORS, OMISSIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, BREACHES OR NEGLIGENCE OF ANY SUCH SUPPLIERS OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING THEREFROM. The limitations specified in this section will survive and apply even if any limited remedy specified in these terms is found to have failed of its essential purpose. The limitations of liability provided in these terms inure to the benefit of Dubrovnik Apartment Source and/or their respective suppliers.
